As a new employee, I was nervous to give feedback to my co-workers. My boss told me that feedback is welcomed in our workplace and to just say what I am thinking. A front-end engineer works on the user interface or “front end” of a website. There are two New York City-based companies: Company A, which develops and manages websites; and Company B, which handles back-end programming. Digital assets are as important as the brick & mortar assets of an organization, but they need to be designed, developed and maintained in a consistent manner.Digital assets are usually the first touchpoint for a customer. A good design can convert a customer into a lifetime buyer and a bad design can have devastating effects on your brand image.With your expertise, you will be designing, developing and maintaining digital assets for organizations. You will also be collaborating with stakeholders to create high-performing digital designs that resonate with customers and keep them coming back for more.

The first task of a software engineer is to turn the problem into data and algorithms. The next step is to implement the design in code. The code is then debugged to remove any errors, as well as to optimize performance and add features. The maintenance of the program comes later in order to add future features and make changes.
